Future

Sterre is in the final year of her Master’s degree in Classical Music at the Prince Claus Conservatoire, where she studies with Paul Komen. She is preparing for new concerts in which she combines classical works with her own compositions and light projections. In addition, Sterre is challenging herself technically by mastering the visual programming software TouchDesigner, allowing her to refine her light projections even further and make them audio-reactive. Sterre is part of the team of Stille Resonantie (Silent Resonance), a project by Thomas Brand that explores how music can resonate deeply within the body and soul — even without sound. Together with flutist Firiël Werners, she forms a duo with which she organizes both classical and improvisation concerts. In addition, she is currently working on her debut EP featuring her own compositions.
